Getting started

What do I need to use RM Calendar?

Just an account: sign up with your email and a password, or continue with Google or Apple. An account is required because your calendar, people, and goals sync through it; there's no guest mode. If you sign up with email and password, we'll send a 6-digit code to that email address to confirm it's yours before your account is created.

I forgot my password. How do I get back in?

Tap "Forgot password?" on the sign-in screen and enter your email. We'll send a 6-digit code to that address. Enter the code in the app and you'll be prompted to set a new password right away. If you originally signed up with Google or Apple rather than a password, use that same "Continue with Google/Apple" button instead. You don't need a password at all in that case.

Does RM Calendar work offline?

Yes. Every change you make saves to your device immediately, so the app works fully offline. Once you're back online, your data syncs automatically. If you sign out while some changes haven't synced yet, the app keeps that data on the device rather than discarding it. Sign back in once you're online to finish syncing.

Can I use RM Calendar on more than one device?

Yes. Sign in with the same account on another device and everything (your calendar, people, and goals) syncs over.

What languages does RM Calendar support?

English and Spanish today, with the app following your device's language automatically (or a language you pick in Settings).

Features

How does goal tracking work?

Set a weekly or monthly target for a goal, then link it to a calendar event type. Completing an event of that type automatically adds to the linked goal's count. You don't have to track it separately. Some goals (like prayer) can even be split into a morning and evening pair based on the time you complete them. You can view your progress over the last six weeks or six months from the goal's graph.

Can I import people from my phone's contacts?

Yes. From the People tab, you can import contacts directly from your device's address book instead of entering them one by one. You choose exactly which contacts to bring in. The app doesn't import your whole address book, and only reads it when you open the import screen.

What's the pop-up that appears after I call or text someone?

If you tap a person's phone, text, or WhatsApp button and then return to the app, RM Calendar offers to log that as a contact so you don't have to re-enter it by hand. You can turn this off in Settings if you'd rather log contacts manually.

Does RM Calendar send reminders?

Yes, optionally: a daily review reminder plus reminders before individual calendar events, however far in advance you choose. All of these are scheduled and delivered entirely on your device. No reminder content is sent to us or anyone else. You can turn reminders on or off, per type, in Settings.

What is Recent Converts / Covenant Path tracking?

It's an optional feature for tracking a recent convert's progress through milestones like baptism, confirmation, priesthood ordination, and sealing. It's off unless you turn it on for a specific person, and every milestone is checked off by hand; the app doesn't track or verify anything automatically. Most of the app doesn't touch this feature at all.

Which map app does an address open in?

On iPhone you can choose Apple Maps or Google Maps in Settings; Android always opens Google Maps. Tapping a person's address just hands it to that app to search for. RM Calendar doesn't look up or store map coordinates itself.

Account and data

How do I delete my account and data?

In the app, go to Settings → Account → Delete Account and confirm. This immediately and permanently deletes your account and every person, event, goal, and setting tied to it from our servers. There's no way to undo it. If you'd rather we do it for you, email us at rmcalendar.support@gmail.com from the address associated with your account.

Can I get a copy of my data?

Email us at rmcalendar.support@gmail.com and we'll send you a copy of the information tied to your account.

Who can see the information I enter?

Only you. Your account data is stored under database rules that scope every request to your own account, and we don't run ads, analytics, or tracking of any kind inside the app. See our Privacy Policy for the full details.

I found a bug: how do I report it?

Email us a description of what happened, including your device model and OS version if possible, and we'll look into it.
